NBD - Epiphone Rumblekat

Got this bass a couple weeks ago, but the first one I got had several bad frets. The second one plays very nicely, no fret buzz at all. I was looking for a short scale bass that was relatively lightweight and inexpensive. So far I'm finding the Rumblekat to be a lot of fun to play, much easier to get around the fingerboard and it's a pound lighter than my Ibanez. The tuners kind of suck, so I'll probably be replacing them sooner rather than later.

That's one of the basses I've owned before that I'm going to end up buying again. Congrats! Unique tone, beautiful appearance, lightweight, and inexpensive, what more could you ask for? I considered swapping the tuners for elephant-ear style tuners, and replacing the gold with chrome, but I traded it before doing any mods to it. Play the hell out of it!
