I've been kicking around the Rumble 200, in place of the Rumble 500 I have now. I would appreciate you're opinions on the 200. Once again, a beautiful Precision.

I've been kicking around the Rumble 200, in place of the Rumble 500 I have now. I would appreciate you're opinions on the 200. Once again, a beautiful Precision.

I played through the Rumble 500 combo a time or two just to hear it. I just don't need that kind of power, and I like the sound of the 15" woofer better. Same front end. Same box. Same transparent D Class ICE Power. Whenever I do get to play with a drummer at a party or bar, I like to drive the Rumble 200 hard. There is something special about the sound of an amp driven right to the edge and thrashed within an inch of it's life.

I have the exact same bass, a lefty white Am Pro P. LOVE it! Throw on a set of GHS Precision flats... wow. I have a set of Thomastic's I bought with the MF rewards money, that may not get used.

Congratulations on a fine acquisition! I have my '76 Precision in 4+ year old GHS Precision flats that sound phenomenal. So I am going to keep my Professional strung in rounds. I am going to give the new GHS Balanced Tension Nickels a go first, but if they don't yank my crank, it's round core Bass Boomers for sure.

Two of my all-time favorites right there. Joe Bonamassa's vocals might not be as good as B.B. and Albert King's; but he sure is one fine guitar player. And I love how he's playing a 335 on "...Thrill" (like B.B.) and a Flying V on "...Bad Sign" (like Albert)! And of course, Michael Rhodes is right there in the pocket, as always...
