I play a Jag for years now and would love to compare this with the new American Standard.

The price is kinda high. Tell me; is the price worth it, compared to a MIJ Jaguar?

Man, I love my CIJ Jag. Is the American one that much better? I followed the tutorial on TB and shielded it and it has no hum (except for the single coil pups). The preamp is quiet as a mouse and gets some great tones. I'd never sell this one but may have to check out the new American version.

Have you repaced your pickups? Which ones did you use?

Very nice - congrats! I have always been curious about the Jag's however have never owned or played one log enough to really get a good feel of them.
