NBD! Fender Jazz

Hey guys! Ive been playing my Fender MIM standard jazz(sunburst, rosewood fingerboard) for about 4 years now. I put some flats on it and love that thing. Fender Jazz basses have always been my favorite bass. My favorite jazz, the one I've always wanted, has always been an Fender Amercian Standard Jazz in Olympic White with Maple fingerboard. Well lucky me, My wonderful gf surprised me with one for Christmas. I cannot put this thing down. It sounds amazing and feels so good :bassist:. Just wanted to share with some guys who would appreciate it as much as me.

Why are you raining on this guys parade? This is a nice bass, if you don't like it, fine, that's your opinion. I don't know what your background is, but I've been playing for over 25 years and own a nice array of basses from Ric to Yamaha to Spector and Fender among others. This is a very nice bass in my (educated) opinion. Not trying to start a war here. If you can't be positive, leave.
Huge +1 here. I reported that jerk too... maybe others should also. Not all basses are for everyone, but to be so negative towards someone like that is just rude and uncalled for. I also have owned a lot of nice, high end gear (still do, I guess), and while a jazz bass isn't my thing, I still think they're cool and sound awesome in the right hands!

I don't know what bass Bass Fund is talking about. That's one sweet Jazz!

No, he's the one who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Most Fender American Standard alder bodies are 3 pieces, there's a few 2 piece bodies out there. My American Deluxe is 2, and my Mexican is probably 17 but it doesn't matter to me. It gets the job done and plays/sounds great.

jsllim, congrats on your new Jazz, enjoy. :)

Yep, people can be rude sometimes. It's even worse when they follow you around with multiple usernames. I actually love Fender basses. Enjoy your new Jazz!
