NBD Fender parts-caster. Purple..

So I really liked the neck and hated the body on my Aerodyne special p. What to do?

Had a fender hi mass bridge from a broken squire. Which also donated the pickguard.

Then I had Bloom Doom do a P body in crown royal sparkle nitro. Didnt really like the pickups as much either so Relentless P went in.

And here it is. Pictures as usual don't do sparkle justice.

Very nice! Normally, I'm not a fan of white pickguards, especially single-ply white guards, but it plays so well with the white-painted Aerodyne headstock, that all I can say is, "Well done!"

The smoothness/ramp like aspect. Plus everyone seemed to agree on the pickups versatility; which I think I agree with. The feel in person though really sold me.

I'm slowly assembling a Frankenstein P Bass but haven't settled on the pickup yet. Obviously a myriad of choices and that many opinions. The versatility you describe gets this onto the list.
