NBD - Fender Player Jazz Capri Orange

Just a thought, a question, actually: Would treating (lemon oil, or ...) the Pau Ferro fretboard darken it? I'm not even sure if Pau Ferro SHOULD be treated.

Anyways, nice bass! I'm seriously considering getting the Buttercream with Maple fretboard.

I ordered a Buttercream/maple P-bass from my local shop. I was ready to pull the trigger on Capri Orange until I saw a Duo Sonic in that finish.

It looked too dreamsicle/push-up pop orange when seen in person. I guess I wanted more of a primary orange. I saw a buttercream Strat and knew that was "the one".

Funny how different colors look in person compared to stock photography or in heavily filtered camera phones.

Me too! I had the Quarter Pounders and Gotoh bridge laying around, and put them on...WOOF! She can get into P territory, but favoring the bridge pickup and dime-ing the tone knob gets into Jaco territory. When I get the chance to gig her, she will look very nice with my MarkBass rig.
