This bass reminds me of my 1st Jazz Bass I bought back in 2002-ish. I had never really wanted a Jazz Bass up to that point having explored other makes / models and having lived through the QC issues of the 70's Fender stuff. THAT bass made me a convert and it has been Jazz Basses ever since! Congrats on your new bass! Enjoy!

Congrats! I love the simplicity of black basses with a white pickguard and rosewood board. Very sharp.

Love it. My first bass 30+ years ago was a MIJ Jazz in Olympic white, and it’s still in my heavy rotation. Roll off that neck pickup about 25%, put your plucking hand over the bridge pickup and get honkin’. No other sound like it.
