So, I had one of these I acquired last summer and posted a thread. Lo and behold, I ended up trading it away for two basses (70's AO Jazz and 60th Anniversary Jazz). Ended up selling those, but still kind of missed the RB V.

I ended up with a Stingray Classic 5, which was a bass I really liked, but again, still missed the Roscoe. A fellow TB member expressed interest in trading it for his Candy Apple Red Roscoe Beck V. I happened to notice this member also posted in my original thread. I posted in there and inadvertently bumped it and started getting notifications on it. I figured it appropriate to post the new one!

I added the black pickguard (black / red / black) from WD Music. I happened to have some black knurled knobs in the trusty parts drawer. I think she's looking sharp and gig ready.

Now, I'm a strange duck. Anyone have any idea what Fender / Fender-ish hard shell case would work for this one? I doubt I'll find an original, which is fine. But, I like storing basses in a HSC and gigging with a backpack type soft case. More toward original looking is best. G & G?

Dunno about the RBV, but my RBIV came in this case. Pretty sure it's the OEM case, as this is my 2nd RBIV, both with this tweed-ish G&G Fender case. If the fiver cases were the same, might be kinda hard finding an original. Good luck, and nice looking RBV you have there!

OP, be aware that the F knobs original to that bass command stupid money these days.
