That’s an absolute beauty, a “lifetime” bass. I wish you many years of enjoyment playing her.

I had my eye on that exact bass too but instead picked up the matte black one that was also up for sale at the same time on TB.

The neck is pure Fodera artwork.

I’ve fallen in love with the Fodera P and she’s my main go to these days also.

I would be tempted to leave the GZRs in if you plan to gig this bass...nothing against the other PUs....but those GZRs really work well/easily in the mix.

I was wondering who scored that one. I had my eye on it too. My main guy is a passive Monarch PJ and I intend to eventually snag one of the P's as well. As was mentioned, I just love Fodera's approach to this minimalist design.

I go between one of these and a De gier soulmate as my eventual ultimate P bass purchase.

Tough choice, different beasts too I'd assume.

View attachment 3029557 Well... I made a crazy purchase this week. I bought this beautiful bass from TB brother @sonicyogi this week. My son jumped on it to play some Nirvana

Just a beautifully crafted bass with a wonderful p bass tone (EMG GZR pups - still undecided if I'm gonna put the original Aguilar pups yet). So easy to play all over the neck.

I currently have a Fender Franken-p (mim body, mij neck, badass bridge, SD quarterpound), but was never fully satisfied. I will keep it for rock duty in hostile environments

I feel lucky to be able to afford this expensive bass, and lucky to have enough gigs to pay for it even if I'm only a weekend warrior. They say the tone is in the fingers. I can't blame the bass anymore.
