Another NBD with an L-1000 in Pharaoh Gold! Congratulations. I love this finish and the grain on the neck and headstock is really cool and unique.

The neck was a little chunkier than my Flea Roadworn Jazz, but not enough to be a problem.
Anyone in TB land have any comments on the neck?

Hard to say without knowing the neck specifications.
I’ve owned 4 US GL basses, each one had different sizes. For myself, I ‘d rather have more width and a flatter radius,
which is the opposite of most Jazz necks. My favorite neck I ‘ve had so far is on my L1k, it’s a #12. 1.65” nut, 12” radius.
My least favorite is on my JB2, a classic 1.5” nut and 7.5” radius.
I can play both just fine, but really prefer the extra girth and flatness of the L1k.
