Nice! Congrats! My 80s L1000 was possibly my favorite bass ever. Wish I had never let that one go. And the output and tone from that pickup were just insane, as you say. Enjoy it!

just got news from Rocket...that MY L1000 may have been the LAST....G&L may not be making them anymore....

Thank the Bass Gods I pulled the Trigger...should be here in a few days

Still trying to get my head around the schematic. I'm thinking that's a coil tap switch.
