I got the itch to try something new so I picked up this Tribute L2500 when it came up for sale.
First impressions: this bass has a lot of different tonal options, with an aggressive bark that comes through on most settings. It's very different from my normal J basses, and it will be fun getting to know the different options.
It needs a little tweaking to the setup and a new bass control pot, but other than that it's in good shape!
