Thought I'd follow-up, week three.
No La Bella 1954s

. I went up to 760FMs on another bass and they're great, but I think that's as heavy as I want for now. I've got some other basses wearing 760FS so this one got 760FLs because different. I think FS is the sweetspot for me. Was worried the FLs could be too floppy (tried and can't with the TIJFs) but they're not. Add a little Nordymute and

Noticed the set-screw for the bridge saddle-lock is MIA. Contacted G&L; a screw is en route.
Noticed some fret buzz on the A at the 8th. Added a touch of relief and raised the action just beyond where I'd want to play, just to see if I could get it to go away. No dice, so a very gentle leveling of the entire board was performed, on my dime. I don't hate myself enough to approach the dealer or send this bass back to California, again. Anyway, it now sits at my preferred medium-low action and each note rings true, even when dug.
What else...the fretboard edges are edgy! A touch of roll on a US option order, no? It'll be fine, just sayin. Anyway, I do love the bass, can't put it down

And, one more.
