I'm primarily an acoustic guitar player, but have been working on learning bass, mainly by playing Rocksmith. I want to become a serviceable bass player so I can fill in for worship if I'm needed. I've been playing an Ibanez SG300 for the last few months and wanted something different. I've got a Fender Rumble 40 on the way as well, so the only test the JB2 has had so far was on rocksmith. The neck feels nice and the bass is well balanced. The true test will, of course, come when it's plugged into the amp. Enjoying it so far for sure.

That JB-2 is a very wise and attractive choice for an all-around bass!! It should blend in very well to any playing situation. Amongst the many features that stand out on JB-2s is the "clean" body top and rear control rout; no pickguard needed! I'm a former G&L owner (US) and have been scoping out Tribbys (Tribbies, whatever) for a while, and would love to see a future JB in 5-string. Very affordable and solid.
