It's that time of the year...
I used to have a Standard 77 RD in Natural finish. It was a great Bass, but a bit too dear for me. So I sold it an ordered this Novoselic on the bay a while ago. It came to germany with the explicit purpose to be modded like I wouldn't do to the 77.
    And it is here!
sort of... I have to pick it up from the tech, SoundRanger, who again did a marvelous job.

    The specs:

Gibson Krist Novoselic RD Bass (NOS)
Gibson 77 RD scratchplate and pickups (NOS)
    Hipshot SuperTone bridge
    Hipshot UltraLite lollipop tuners
    Hipshor UltraLite lollipop D-tuner
    Delano Sonar 3 preamp
    Active-passive push-pull potentiometer
    Pickup selector switch
    Series-parallel mini switch
    Security locks
    D'Addario EXL160BT strings

It's a cool bass. Which tuning will you use with these heavy strings?

Nice. My first bass was a ‘79 RD Standard, black. I still have it.
