NBD!!! Gibson Thunderbird

I've wanted a Gibson Thunderbird for a long time, but I had been putting it off and buying other things. With Gibson's price increases for the 2014 models, I thought I had better jump on a brand new 2013 while I can. So here it is and except for the fretboard needing oiled, it's perfect right out of the box. Quality is absolutely flawless and the setup is perfect for me as well.

Can't wait to break it out at Band Practice tonight.

Thanks! Other than oiling the Fretboard, I haven't put it down yet. It's much more lite than the Epi I had years ago. Much better playability and tone also. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Thanks everyone! I truly am amazed at the quality. I have Warwicks, Fenders and even a couple of great quality SX basses. Nothing I have including my Warwick FNA Jazzman, touches the quality that I see and feel in my Thunderbird. Rehearsal in about a hour. Can't wait!
