Man...just reading that makes my blood boil speaking from my perspective as an IT professional. A flake like he was dealing with makes all of us look bad.

I'd also be willing to bet it wasn't just that guy's divorce that was the problem, even if it did happen to serve as a convenient excuse. I've seen a lot of wannabe "web designers" (who are usually former graphic designers or photographers who read a couple of books on web tech) oversell themselves and then either crap out, or pull a disappearing act, once things get beyond a basic static page type website or a simple Wordpress setup. Anything that requires real coding or major customizations to existing code and their true abilities (or lack thereof) start to show. Knowing basic HTML/CSS and that there are shopping cart plugins and how to install them doesn't automatically qualify you to engineer and develop someone's e-commerce site.

My sympathies to Marko for running into one of those techno-weenies.

lol. While it may be less environmentally friendly, I've always leaned towards overpacking. It's better than the alternative of having damaged products, return or reshipments, unhappy buyers (and sellers)...

I'm not a gigantic environmenatlist. But styrofoam and plastic bubble wrap are lighter than corrugated cardboard which takes less fossil fuel to transport.
