I have a few HBs, An sc400 and an sc450, both goldtops, and a swamp ash tele clone with a honey finish. I get so many compliments on the tele, it just looks and sounds amazing. HB does an excellent job with their natural finishes, every one I've seen has been gorgeous.

For a man with a curious mind with a somewhat tight budget you get alot for your dollar. Id have a hard time spending more on something unless it was a once in a lifetime opportunity bass. This is so much fun to play I'm going to stop looking at music store websites for awhile and just enjoyi've never owned HB axes but i trust the praise heaped on them for their build quality at such savings --- your fretless is the bomb, OP! congratulations on your new instrument!
