NBD Harley Benton Warlock Bass

My new toy, HB WB20 for mere 150$ from Thomann
Neck dive as F, so a wide and rough strap is a must
Finish flawless, no sharp frets, intonation up to 2 cents, not bad at all
I love how affordable instruments became with mass production

Here's an experiment:
wrap the end of the strap that goes to the bridge-end strap button in adhesive tape; attach it to the upper spike of the body (the one roughly in line with the bridge front edge, and the volume control).
My bet is on this location being a lot better than where the lower strap button currently is: it may well kill neck-dive completely.
If I'm right, move the button up there permanently.

Like the way in my pic here?
Because this works :)
Thx :)

....

Well, sounds like they copied the original perfectly. 🤣

I wish they didn't dive like that, I have tried so many Warlocks over the years, thinking that I would just "deal with it". And Every time, I sold it shortly thereafter. :sour: (Same for the few Mockingbirds I've tried as well).

Congrats on the New Bass!

I SO wanted to like the Mockingbird! Aesthetically glorious - ergonomically awful, was my sad conclusion. ☹
