I took the pickguard off and measured the pickup with calipers. I had it slightly wrong before. It's exactly 1.50” x 3.75” so not metric after all.
The more I play it the more I like it... I've been leaning on short scales heavily in the last few years. My Strandberg is sitting more and the HILS is getting more use. I do believe I'm going to upgrade the pickups to a set of EMG's, MMCS(bridge) and a SJ(neck). Similar to my black splatter Kiesel Vader SS setup. I like that they left room in the bass cavity for modification without having to get out the router. It should make this thing roar!!!
