NBD: headless, short scale and passive - Hils NEXT HNB3

Discovered that the cavity is shielded. Edit: And a crack through one of the screw holes...

The more I play it the more I like it... I've been leaning on short scales heavily in the last few years. My Strandberg is sitting more and the HILS is getting more use. I do believe I'm going to upgrade the pickups to a set of EMG's, MMCS(bridge) and a SJ(neck). Similar to my black splatter Kiesel Vader SS setup. I like that they left room in the bass cavity for modification without having to get out the router. It should make this thing roar!!!
