I’ve got a 205. Takes concentration to work with the 15mm spacing. The B is really floppy so it’s a jam up the volume and play lightly affair. Sounds pretty cool though. If you were in Canada I’d sell you mine. Although I’m tempted to put a pg on now.

Op’s looks like wood. Nice.

15mm spacing sounds awesome, I'm used to 16mm and sometimes feel awkward on standard 19mm, like a kid wearing dad's shoes...

PG is wood. It is growing on me but I'll likely try taking it off to see how she looks. Right now I'm just annoying the family with it while watching TV

Sorry to dig up an old thread but some places will flame you for starting a new one before searching. ;-)
I just traded for one of these AGB200. I already like it more than I thought I would.
I think I read that this short-scale bass needs medium-scale strings? That might explain why the ones on it have the silks going over, and past, the nut.
So I'll replace them. I like flat or tape wounds. I have tapes on my acoustic and LaBella Deep Talkin flats on my Talman. I don't know if low-tension is suggested on a semi? Or might just be nicer anyway? I think I got a great deal on this trade so I could splurge for the famous TIs but I'm just a beginner so I suppose that might be a waste.
Any/all advice appreciated!

Sorry for replying on such an old thread, but I really like the look of the pickguard on a Ibanez agb200 bass and would like to add one on mine!

would anyone know which pickguard would fit an AGB200?
