Picked up this thing yesterday. Ive been looking for a more modern 4 string bass for a while now. As far as looks, i think this is about as modern as it gets.
The bass is very comfortable to play standing or sitting. The weight is fantastic, and it balances extremely well.
Pickups sound fantastic, and the preamp seems to do the trick without imparting much of its own sound. This is what really sold me on the bass, i didnt really want yet another p bass. Nothing against them, but i wanted something decidedly not a Fender Shaped Object, or the sounds associated with those instruments.
It needs some fretwork as the frets are sprouting a bit, and i havent decided if i want to put the ramp on it yet.
