NBD - Ibanez Iceman content

Yes! I had an ivory-white Iceman guitar at some point in the 90s myself. Loved it.

OP - it sucks that the round gems don't neatly stack up against the curves - if the adhesive is strong enough maybe you could overhang some and grind them flush with the edge?

I know it’s so annoying! It was tough making sure everything would meet up to the sides on everything in the body that I had to work outwards. So what I’m going to do today is scoop a bag of smaller stones to see if I can fill in the gaps.

Ooh, Nice new bass! Looked just like my first bass. Got that back in 2010 for my 10th birthday. Thing was nearly as big as me. Could hold the thing up with just my chin without bending over...

Anyway, looks like yours has a more sensical-ly placed strap peg. Not behind the neck at the bolts...:banghead:

Looked pretty nice before your customization, now it looks unique, fun, and flashy.
(Good thing you didn't use glue and glitter...)

Yea it has a strap button in both spots actually. Both sides and the back behind the neck. Neither work well LOL

Now, for some fun. I’m in an original band that likes to cheese it up and wear fun jackets, shoes, flash it up because we have fun! We’re good time rock guys and we’re not boring. So, I thought, let me get around 2,600 rhinestones and see what happens. So I give you the REAL ICEMAN!

That will really pop under some stage lighting! My opinion is leave the headstock in black, nice contrast to the "blingy" body.

Paul approves! I got to hold a mirrored one in a music store in Milwaukee once, that thing was heavy! Always assumed it was because of the mirror finish.

No one said you had to change your mind, I am also in the camp of just move on if you don't like it. Why insert any un-needed "downer" to a new bass day for someone? Whatever.
Yeah, maybe You are right, but on the other hand, if he wanted replies, what else could i write and also - i didn't say that it is a bad bass, i just say that i don't like it. If he likes it, i don't think he felt any sadness after reading my measage.
