Found this today in a local Pawn Shop, 2018 Fender American Performer Precision with Fender Hard/Flite case. It is now my second PJ that I own....Im thinking about a Tort pickguard for it

I totally get wanting two pickups, and (boomer alert) I modded a bunch of P-basses to PJ starting in the late 70s way before OEM PJs were available. These days however I've gone to P-only. With PJ I liked the growl on the low strings, but didn't care for the twang on the D and G strings, so I was constantly tweaking the J volume to find the goldilocks zone and rarely finding it. Others can get great PJ tones across all strings, so the problem is me and not the pickup config.
Bottom line: I'm the oddball, not you. Beautiful bass, enjoy!
