I missed the chance to buy a Drozd about 15-20 years ago before he went full-on into masterworks like this. I really appreciate his approach to building - and these text basses are just next level gorgeous.

I had the same experience with Jens Ritter, and I kick myself pretty regularly for not taking that chance. He, Jerzy, and maybe a handful of other builders are really just on another level entirely.

OP, that's an absolute stunner. Enjoy it.

Right? It’s so cool to see hardware in a different colour other than the three same we’ve seen for decades… I don’t know why more builders don’t do this.

No kidding!

Kahler used to offer their hardware in a variety of colors - I've seen these colors, they may have done more: black, chrome, brass, gold, blue, red, white, and gray.
