OK, so this is a few days late but I've been dying to share:
Apparently, Kritz is out of business but the site is still up which features this bass:

There are a ton of really cool innovations in the design of this, such as:
Smilefrets (TM)
Complex Radius Fingerboard
Zero Fret
Asymmetric neck
Lift top body
Heelless Neck-to-Body Joint
No Truss Rod (Graphite reinforced neck)
All woods 100+ years old. Rootwood top, cedar/maple back. Ebony board with birdseye on the neck.
The asymmetrical neck is awesome - it's form-fitting the hand and very fast. The bass weighs about 7 lbs and is very comfortable. The Basslines pickups are bright and great for slap. Controls are: PU selector switch, Volume, Treb, Mid & Bass and there is a push/pull slap switch. The action is incredibly low and I barely need to pluck the strings for tone.
I'd love to know if there's anyone else out there with one of these. It is truly a unique bass!
