Lakland still uses a rectangle hard case with brown lining. The gig bag shown is an Access Stage 5.

I'm thinking about ordering a US Lakland, as I have a 55-02 Skyline that I absolutely love. I'd really like to get a 55-60.

That color seems to be custom, too (as in, not listed on the choices on their website). Did you email Lakland directly before ordering, or did you just place your order via email, or...? I'm really wanting a candy apple purple type of solid color for mine.

Email them and then speak with them. I've had wonderful conversations with Leo Lopez, and he is only too happy to try and customize your order when possible. Little known secret that Lakland has more custom options than the website lets on.
