What do you think so far?

Awesome. I restrung it with DR Hi-Beams last night. The B sting is tight and punchy. String to String very even. Notes have some good weight to them with the solid light weight ash! The neck is amazing. So comfortable!!

What was the wait time?

Just 6 months!

Love those Laklands. That is gorgeous. The fretboard is exceptional. All of mine are Indonesian models but they are all exceptional. I don't play well enough for anything like that. Dam I know they made nice stuff but, dam.
Enjoy it. I just picked up a 44-51 from Sweetwater. Still deciding on strings for it. The factory ones are a little to bright for my tastes.

I'm thinking about ordering a US Lakland, as I have a 55-02 Skyline that I absolutely love. I'd really like to get a 55-60.

That color seems to be custom, too (as in, not listed on the choices on their website). Did you email Lakland directly before ordering, or did you just place your order via email, or...? I'm really wanting a candy apple purple type of solid color for mine.
