Just unpacked this beauty. Who remembers these?
I remember reading reviews of them and being very interested. Love the small body,and the jetsonesque styling. Also was very intrigued by the alumitone pickups. I’ve never actually seen one in person,though.
Looking forward to reading (and maybe hearing?) your impressions of it.

I got one of those. I got it cheap, on sale at one of the big box web stores, not long after they came out. I dig unusual stuff, and this is unusual.
There are a ton of sounds in those pickups and the single tone control.
Just got back from the gulag...err.. grocery store ;P. Going to plug her in shortly and see for myself.

Nice looking bass, except for the knobs. They remind me of the Sony VTRs I worked on years ago. Will look out for the review.
