That's pretty cool. I don't usually see boutique-looking basses with just one pickup and volume & tone.
Thanks. The only thing I use less than the tone knob is the volume knob. It started out with just the ToneStyler and a kill switch, but quickly went back to Vol/Tone. Even with a resistor in place of the Vol knob, there was something I didn't like about the sound. We could have experimented with different value resistors, but took the path of least resistance instead (I think there may be a pun in there somewhere).

Extremely smart. I saw your video on Facebook the other day and thought to myself that it was a very pretty bass. The electronics package is simplicity defined, in fact to even call it a "package" may be over-selling it.

I always enjoy your stuff, I've been watching you on YouTube for a good few years now, your covers are excellent. I look forward to hearing this in more videos to come.

Thanks. Joe usually does a lot more fancy inlay work on his basses, but I'm not a flashy/fancy guy, so this bass is a bit understated from a lot of his other basses. Originally, I had planned on putting Spector-esque guts in the bass with EMG's and a HAZ preamp, but thought that something passive would suit Joe's build style better and I'm happy that I went in that direction. Thanks again! I recorded 6 videos with it on Easter Sunday.
