Wow, a 3 Color with tort and rosewood with flats is hard to beat. You cant go wrong with that. Congrats.

The Roland belongs to Bobthedog - he was just posting a pic of his identical P. Maybe he can review it for us in the amps section.
As for me, I play through a Phil Jones M-500 head into Phil Jones 8-T & 16-B cabs (live rig), and I also have an SWR Baby Blue 2x8 combo (recording), and an SWR Headlite/1x15 mini rig (home practice).
I got mine in December, I am amazed at the tone. I did mine with GHS pressure wounds. Great looking bass I hope you have many years of enjoyment with it.

The photo was before the Chromes were put on, my language was perhaps not clear.
Sunburst P with flats. Don't get more classic than that. Nice! I've got a 2013 just like it as well- so well made, and that CS pickup is fantastic. You'll love it.
I could not get on with it so sold it to my tutor who loves it. One of his other pupils has now bought a secondhand one too because he loved it so much too. Different strokes etc. I do borrow it for my exams, however, as it is nicely portable.

Thanks! Sunburst was my 2nd choice - I was looking for one in Oly white (gotta play 'em before I buy 'em), but I'm very happy with the one I got.
I have a brand new American pbass as well. It's black with a maple fretboard and I put a tortoise shell pickguard on it. I just put a set of flats on it today and jammed it at practice tonight. I love it. The sound guy said it sat in the mix really well

This is my Olympic White with ETB92 Nylons on it.
That's a beauty! I'll have to try a set of those nylons someday, but the GHS flats I have on mine are sounding really nice for now.
My Fretless Jazz showed up today with the Fender Flats onboard. It sounded good, but sure like the ETB92 Nylons on it better.
