A matte black p/g on that bass would look GREAT! It would be very understated at a gig, until the first note comes out!
That sounds painful! I prefer lighter flats: GHS Precision flats 45-95. Very flexible and easy on the neck, and not expensive.
Yeah they're not working for me. I play every day pretty consistently and never had any hand strain but 2 days with these strings is starting to cause some aching.
