Hey all, first NBD, at least new to me.
So the story goes:
With two young kids at home I’m allowed 1 electric bass. I’ve had a Classic 50’s Honey Blonde P Bass for a while, I really liked it but wanted something with a bridge pickup so I traded it for a Lakland 44-01. I liked that one too, The playability was great but I wasn’t getting along with the sound. I was considering putting in new pickups or a different preamp and found someone locally on Facebook marketplace looking to sell his Jazz. We traded my 44-01 for his Jazz.
It’s a 2000 Jazz Deluxe, has a really nice neck profile, precision like imo full feeling even with the thinner nut. Looks to be 100% original and it came with a nice hard Road Runner case. Everything works!
The guy said he played it 3 times in the 7 years he had it. Not a ding on it. I took it home did a quick setup and.... I love it. It sounds really nice. My favorite thing is that it sounds good with all the knobs flat so I could fidget less and play more
