Hi there,
I've been threatening to get a Jazz bass, got a nice li'l bonus at work, so...Craigslist San Diego, a 97 MIM jazz, black, mint green guard, ashtray, Reverend passive single polepiece p/u's. Looks sweet, plays great, sounds wonderful...HAPPY CAMPER! I can't wait for my next rehearsals/gigs. Seller is on this site (thanks, Tony!) Some shots, I took off the ashtray, I think I'll leave it off, we'll see ( it does look tres classy with it on). I may go tort for the guard as well, a black w/tort rosewood necked Jazz has been my vision, I'll live with this and see how I feel, it looks sweet.

Anyone have any experience, info on these Reverend pickups? I couldn't find anything web-wise, seller said they are from mid/late 90's, not made anymore (nothing like them on the current Reverend site). Sound great, this is my first Jazz so I really have nothing to compare to. I notice no hum increase when volumes are different, not sure if a stacked/bucker type p/u, but they are passive.

Yay for me!
