Really killer bass and super happy with the build.
This is my first custom ordered bass and Mike and Daniel nailed it.
Cheers!

Hooley dooley that’s really quite incredibly good looking! Mike & Dan can sure make a bass. Interesting choice for the birdseye headstock as well, cool continuation of the fretboard. Does the nebula stain continue around on the back or is that a solid color?

Many congrats on a phenomenal new instrument!!

Thanks, the stain does continue around the back.
I went with the Birdseye over the headstock just to try to keep things more simple looking.

Now THAT'S a nice NBD...not the same boring P and J basses that look like every other bass. I dig that plain headstock, too! Couldn't believe how easily Mike's basses played at NAMM when I attended years back...lowest action ever without buzz.

Thanks, yes the action is incredible on this bass.
Id post a video but I’m having to relearn how to play because everything is effortless so I have to do a lot of adjusting to keep from tripping up.
My biggest surprise was how versatile the preamp/pickups are. I was expecting the mtd sound, which it definitely does, but it does a lot more than that. It’ll do p/jazz pretty darn well and can sound pretty passive as well. Most basses I own have a set and forget preamp, this preamp gives a lot of flexibility with a pretty simple set of controls.

I’d love to see a snap of the back if you’d be happy to. I think all of the nebula bursts I’ve seen have had a single tone of purple on the backs which still looks nice, but I’ve always thought it should carry over.

Thanks in advance!

I’ll try to remember to snap a pic when I get home tonight. If I forget just shoot me a pm to remind me and I’ll shoot you a pic.
