I miss my MTD.

I hear that. Yesterday I was looking at some pics of basses I used to own and found myself wondering why I ever sold any of my MTD's. I miss them all. Fortunately I found my way back into the fold last summer and couldn't be happier.

Maple headstock caps are rare on MTDs and yours looks great. Balances things out nicely and that piece of birdseye for the fretboard is gorgeous. Congratulations!

Thanks, the stain does continue around the back.
I went with the Birdseye over the headstock just to try to keep things more simple looking.

I like the headstock. Looks sweet. Enjoy in good health.

They are gold in color but I’m not sure what the material is. I assume it’s brass or bronze or something in there.

I’m not going to say it was inexpensive but it wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be. Also, yes, it was worth it to me, should’ve done this a long time ago.

I love that! I have a soft spot for Warwick's frets, I really love the feel of them. Strange I didn't think I'd get a favourite fret feel type.

I didn’t want anything flashy so we originally decided on a grade b birds eye board. Mike called me before delivery to inform me that he made a “mistake” and upgraded the fingerboard to grade A I was blown away when he sent the pics.
