NBD: MTD Z6

Just picked this up yesterday. Used but fairly clean with a few swirls and minor dings but nothing major. Stock pre-amp and pickups, which seem fine for now. Going to try my hand at more chordal playing, so I'm breaking out of my 5 string comfort zone.

After playing around with this for a couple of days, these are my first impressions:

It's neck heavy, but not too bad. Overall surprisingly light, probably around 9 lbs.

The electronics are useable but not outstanding. It's great for playing chords and melodies up high. The higher registers sound better than the lower registers to me.

The asymmetrical neck is comfortable, but the wide board makes chording up high a workout for the left wrist. That might just be something to get used to. It works to wear this up a little higher, and hold the neck at a higher angle as well, than with a regular Fender style instrument.

My Lakland Skyline DJ5 has never seemed so easy to play...
