I’m really digging my first Stingray. I haven’t played much but it sounds killer through my SVT. Lots of variety with the active eq. Great fit and finish. 8.6 lbs.

Super nice. I’ve been thinking a lot about these lately, this was the one I “couldn’t have” as a kid.

Man! You're killin' it on the NBDs. Beautiful bass and color, congrats. I've said it before and I'll saying again, I really like the updates that Ernie Ball did on the Specials regarding the contouring and weight savings.

Thanks! I am fortunate to be able to get some new stuff this year. I’m done with NBDs, for now at least

Beauty bass! Congrats! I also got a new (and my first EBMM) Ray Special last week and am loving it as well. I'd held off for a regular Ray for a long time owing to the weight, but when I tried this one out in the store, I was blown away at how light it was. I was going to use it with our band for the first time this weekend, but I really wanted to get a setup done first (slightly heavier gauge strings, raise the action a bit), but the Specials are killer! Enjoy playing that bad boy!

The color is frost green and describes it well, credit to Music Man for that it was honestly a little darker in person than I thought it would be; but it changes somewhat with different lighting. Pretty happy with the finish!

Beautiful bass. It seems like all of the Stingray Specials change tint with lighting. Pretty cool effect. I have the HD Yellow, Smoked Chrome, Amethyst Sparkle and I've seen the Burnt Ends, Raspberry Burst and Charcoal Sparkle and they all change with lighting.

You should see how my plumpkin finish changes in the lighting. It's pretty wild, you can see in this first pic how the sides look bright orange with the front staying purple/blue. And the pic in my display pic on the left looks more maroon I think.
