Congrats on the new bass! These Embassy Pros are fantastic, IMO. I swapped the stock strings out for TI Jazz flats and it just kills. I can't believe they are selling them for $399!

Thanks but I already returned it. These current batch have a big issue Epiphone knows about that they will supposedly fix on the upcoming batch. The bridge saddles are all the way back due to a flaw in the placement, so you can’t adjust intonation at all. That plus no arm contour started to bother me after playing it for awhile.

Bummer. I noticed the saddles on mine are the same way. But since intonation was perfect on the A, D and G strings (and only sharp by a hair on the E string), it was not an issue for me. I wonder if this means Epiphone will honor their "Lifetime Limited Warranty" in regards to the issue?

Glad you were able to return it. That seems like a pretty serious flaw. I could work around it on a vintage bass but no need on a new one. Related, t-bird pickups can sound great in other basses too! I have a set in a MIJ p bass and like it very much.

Bridges on the new ones are corrected but they're 100 bucks more now and some of the colors are on backorder.
