New Refinish Day of my 2 months old New Bass Day :)

Got a pretty beaten Modulus M-92 from a local auction site a couple of month ago.

Previous owner refinished it badly, bridge was misaligned, pots scratchy...gave it to a local shop who made a great makeover in Shell Pink

The pink is a little bit more pale that my reference picture but I think it turns out well, great player good to go for the next 20 years. Really like the sweet spot and the bass is light at 8.6lbs

Ooh I made a bid on that. Glad that a TB'er snagged that pretty Modulus.

I think from the description of the listing there was a lot to worry, i got it at a fair price but i almost had to top the amount paid to get the overhaul.

It's not all rosy, the neck has seen a lot and intonation can be a little off (some buzz on B string that were unfortunately not fixed with realigning the bridge)

But for the age of the instrument i'd say it's still in good condition

A white pickguard sure would look pretty on that!

In the process i collected A LOT of Shell Pink reference picture, see below the G&L finish that was the base and it came with a parch pickguard. I thought about a white pickguard but eventually i like black better as it highlight the more pale pink.

Well...maybe one day a new pickguard for a periodic refresh
