Hi all. I have been on the hunt for a well-built P bass for while, and chanced across this Mas Hino-era 2017 Olinto P. It's a beautiful deep green, and was very well taken care of by the previous owner.

First impressions are very good. I had heard positive things about Olinto's necks and this one fits my hand well - it's a 7.25 radius and is quite shallow in depth. The Mas Hino pickups sound excellent - lots of woody thump with the LaBella DTFs that are strung on the instrument. So far, I see why these basses are so well regarded.

I’m curious about these types of higher end Fender style basses… what is it about them that you like more than a top of the line vintage style Fender like a custom shop or avri? I have and have had avri’s and custom shops that are totally killer, but I’ve never played or even seen an Olinto, Moolon, Coppola etc, so I have no idea how they compare to what I’ve experienced.
