I would expect the OP's Genesis bass to be a MUCH nicer instrument that one of those MIC Gretsch's.

I think it weighs as much as two of the Gretsch's I still don't understand the cheap chipboard case? there is no way I would carry it by the handle one thing I always loved about Peavey's were the bullet proof cases they were way ahead of their time in case design.

Thanks the seller gave me a good deal on it I couldn't pass it up I loved my EB3 but that bridge pup is a joke

I forgot to talk about the neck it's chunky much chunkier than a P neck but it's not at all uncomfortable it feels good I like it. I have never ever held a heavier bass in my life I thought those old Alembic's were solid! I think if my house was broken into I would grab this before my gun. I think I'm going to dust off a pair of my old bell bottoms and my classic disco sucks! t-shirt and play some Rock and Roll until the cops show up.

Thank you sir I had never heard of them until I was checking out that website and seller is a really cool guy who knows his stuff he's had over three of them and this is the cleanest one he's ever had.

Took her to my tech Jimmy for a checkup she needed a minor neck adjustment and I put a fresh pair of Slinky's on her she's good to go for at least another thirty-five years.
