Yay!!!!! Never knew this bass existed until now. Looks like an L9 offshoot.

Update to my previous post (above). About a year ago I saw a couple of them fir sale online. One was in bad shape, someone took all the frets out and it was dinged up, badly.

If this is the one you were talking about, I bought it. Might have in fact been back in 2019.

I think about that bass a lot but I play seated and that little horn didn't balance well on my knee but it was museum quality
