NBD: Retired my Jazz. Going all Precision now

Some people overuse the term "life-changing" these days, but a P with flatwounds really is that for a lot of us. It made me rethink the way bass is supposed to sound. There are very few musical applications for which it will not work.

Keep that jazz bass around, though, even if it's just to remind you that you're a precision guy every once in a while.

My Jazz is in my hardshell case, hibernating. I will summon her if I ever am in need of a Jazz sound.
