Weird. The body looks smaller than standard Fender size, but the upper horn still reaches the 12th fret...

the body feels about the same size as my P's. the neck seems a little thinner, more jazzy. i wouldn't trust my iphone photo skills.

i got it straight from the factory. last time my band was in germany, we played with a sandberg employee's band. i flipped when i saw his basses. the pickups are cool, but i think i'll be putting a dimarzio dp122 in.

for the quality, they're very reasonably priced.

Amazing! Looks like one of the old Fender slab basses - the mega growly UK import ones. But obviously without the slab body.

That's great news about the neck. I'm saving for the California PM and I was worried about the neck being too thick. My present bass has got a jazz-like neck.

Have you got the factory strings on them, or did you go with flats? (The factory strings are steel, as I recall...)

they're the factory strings. they're pretty good. i tend to go for the "zing", so i like them, not unlike my d'addarios. i change them every day when on tour, unless we happen to play a show during which i don't sweat like a pig...
