Cool bassJust finished up our yearly trip out east to Nova Scotia (25 hour drive!). Anyways while we were out there I popped into a Long & McQuade music store and they had a couple Gretsch G2220 Electromatic Junior Jet II's on display. I picked one up and fell in love with it. Nice warm bass and when you boost the tone you can get a nice grindy mid tone as well. After I played it for about an hour I was sold. The $399 CAD price tag helped as well. Very good set up. Build quality is excellent and it's also my first short scale which I am also digging.

These things are WAY cool! Local GC has 2 of them, & I'm seriously considering depleting their supply by one. Looks exactly like yours. Such cool tones you can get out of it!
...I am 6' 5", so...I might look even goofier than normal...![]()

They are great fun! Wish I could find an old single pickup one some time!
