NBD! Spahic Custom 5 - Video Review!

Greetings TB’ers. I don’t usually post NBD video reviews, but then again I cannot recall ever being so excited about a new bass!

I was lucky enough to come across this builder on a recent trip to FL. Elvir Spahic is originally from Bosnia and has over 25 years of experience building guitars there.

He had a few basses listed on FB Marketplace (Largo, FL) and pleasantly agreed to let me head over and try them out. I came home with this custom 5 string:
-Maple top, Zebra Wood body, Wenge fretboard
-Single Cut / Through-Neck design
-Countered body
-Graphite reinforced neck
-Nordstrand pickups
-Bartolini TCT 3-band preamp with adjustable mid switch
-Gotoh tuners
-Warwick bridge
-Adjustable nut





After putting the bass through three gigs this weekend, I could not be happier with my purchase!

It has hints of Spector/Warwick/Roscoe (all nice basses!) and sounds great.
