With all the Bassilicious Colors, Finishes and Pickguard options out there I've never been able to figure out why anyone would choose to buy a Black Bass........or Guard......with the Exception of Steinberger's. Now if we're talking' about Accordions, that's a totally different story. 🖤 🎶 😎

I just love how Ernie Ball reproduce the old basses.
To make everything work properly, they just moved the bridge so the strings are aligned with the center of the pickup's pole position 😂.
It was a better choice for them then to reproduce faulty original bridge with strings passing at an angle.
Once You see it, You can't unsee it.

I would say they positioned the bridge so the saddle grooves are aligned. Since they are all offset to the left, they had to position the bridge to the right. Quirky but I like it.
