...Of semi-hollows. At least as far as my experiences have been. Picked up this German-made Warwick Star Bass II. Delivered a couple days ago on my birthday!

I've tried a number of hollows and semi-hollows over the years. I wanted to like them, but always end up selling them because they're just not comfortable. At least compared to my Fenders and Fender-like basses.

I recently sold my Guild Starfire II. Very nice bass, but I just didn't quite like it as much as I thought I would.

Had the opportunity for this beauty, so I used the money I got from the Guild plus some more that I had from selling another bass awhile back. Took the plunge and got this sweet used 2012 Warwick. I'm loving it. Great tone, and it just feels better to me. (Of course it SHOULD, since it's a more expensive bass. But we all know that isn't always the case.) I really like the fact that there is a strap button installed on the upper horn, which makes it MUCH more comfortable when standing.

This one looks to be the same kind Leland Sklar discussed in a video. Pretty good endorsement! I'll attach Lee's video below, along with a pic of my "new" beauty...
