I wandered into one of the local music stores today, and while chatting with the guy who runs it, I notice a strangely familiar looking bass hanging up on the wall.
At face value it looked quite modern and sleek, but possibly a little lifeless.
It turned out to be a Hudson PB4, which seems to be based on a Greg Curbow design. Now, for it's meargre price of £250, I was expecting an entry level bass, but I tried it nontheless.
Bloody hell, was I wrong! The tones it produced blew me away. I don't know how I hadn't tried one of these things before, I mean, I hadn't even heard of them, yet it's wonderful!
As I was in a rush to get home as I had business to attend to, I kindly asked him to old it back for me, and that I'd collect it tomorrow.
I can't bloody wait until I bring that thing home tomorrow...
I'll post pictures and a sound clip tomorrow/friday!
Anyone else have one of these Hudson Project Basses?
